How your support is used

Eight ways we support HSMH

Friends of Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Funding priorities include:

  • Medical equipment and supplies
  • Emergency and critical care support initiatives
  • Facility improvements and infrastructure needs
  • Medicines and supplies for economically disadvantaged patients

Support for hospital-administered charitable care, including:

  • Charity care and financial hardship programs
  • Medically necessary treatments and diagnostic services
  • Maternal, pediatric, and emergency care services under hospital charity policies

Medical Equipment & Technology Support

Through charitable sponsorships:

  • Acquisition of life-saving and essential medical equipment
  • Repair or replacement of outdated or non-functional devices
  • Diagnostic and treatment-related technology enhancements

Community Health & Educational Initiatives

Health-related education and outreach promoting:

  • Preventive health awareness
  • Community health education
  • Health camps, screenings, and outreach programs by qualified providers

Emergency & Humanitarian Response

Friends of Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital does not provide medical care directly. All activities are conducted in furtherance of its exempt charitable purposes through financial and programmatic support of Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital.
